June 29, 2021
Greetings,
"I'm not going to continue knocking that old door that doesn't open for me. I'm going to create my own door and walk through that."
— Ava DuVernay, Writer and Filmmaker
Engage. Empower. Expand.

Building on our solid foundation, we’ll take these three big steps as we leverage our strengths, experiences and wisdom to activate the NAWBO vision and mission.
Vision : The National Association of Women Business Owners propels women entrepreneurs into economic, social, and political spheres of power, worldwide.
Mission: As an organization with a customer first philosophy, we:
- STRENGTHEN the wealth-creating capacity of our members and promote economic development
- CREATE innovative and effective changes in the business culture
- BUILD strategic alliances, coalitions and affiliations
- TRANSFORM public policy and influence opinion makers
On June 23rd, the newly installed 2021-22 NAWBO GDC Board of Directors collaborated at the annual Board Retreat. The focus of the retreat was engagement – how to engage our members, prospective members and the WBO community at-large to achieve our vision and mission in the 2021-22 new year. It was a great day of ideation, energy, and planning. We’re excited about the new year – creating new doors and walking through! Are you ready? Let’s GO!!!!
