Volunteer on A Committee

All Chapter members and corporate partners are welcome and encouraged to get involved. No matter how much time you have to devote, we can find something that will match your interests. Whether it's an hour, a month or assistance with a specific program or event, your help will be appreciated and acknowledged. And best of all, you and your business will benefit from the new contacts you make both within and outside NAWBO.

10 Reasons to Join a NAWBO GDC Committee

  1. You love an excuse to get away from the office to meet with a fun, hardworking group of women.
  2. You want to learn more about leadership positions and how to become a leader.
  3. You want to give back to the business community.
  4. You want to raise your profile among businesses in the community – small and large.
  5. You want to make connections to other business owners who can help YOUR business.
  6. You want to develop yourself and gain new skills.
  7. You want a chance to tell others about your business and where you’re taking it.
  8. You either dread or love speaking in front of a group – either way, you’ll benefit.
  9. You have something to offer NAWBO GDC, and want to find a way to find out what others have to offer YOU.
  10. Getting out of the office and spending time with your peers, your admirers, and your heroines is the best medicine.
