Call for NAWBO GDC Board Nominations

Are you looking for a place to hone your leadership skills?  Would you like to increase your exposure to the business community in metro Detroit?  Boost your business:  Serve on the NAWBO Greater Detroit Chapter Board of Directors.  Strong business leaders are at the core of NAWBO’s success, helping us propel women entrepreneurs into economic, social, and political sphere of power worldwide.

The Board of Directors of NAWBO Greater Detroit Chapter may be just the place for you!  Nominations are now open for the term running from June 2026 through May 2028.  Nominees must be members in good standing at the premier membership level and have served on a NAWBO or NAWBO/EXCEL committee.

Self-nominations are welcome, or you might want to nominate a woman business owner you know and respect.  Current Directors are eligible for nomination of a second two-year term provided they have not already served the maximum consecutive terms allowable by our bylaws.  Current directors interested in an officer’s position must also apply and be interviewed by the nominating committee.

To nominate yourself or another member by filling out application below by Midnight, April 5, 2026.  Interviews for qualified nominees will take place April 14th and 15th between 8:30am and 10:30am each day through video conference.

Slated candidates are notified prior to ballot presentation.  New directors are introduced at the President's Reception which is also NAWBO GDC's annual meeting on June 9, 2026.
