Alexis F. Johnson is the founder of AFJ Law Group PLLC, a law firm providing knowledgeable, solution-oriented representation for business owners. Her practice areas include complex commercial litigation, contract disputes, shareholder and member disputes, and real property sales and acquisitions.
Alexis understands that litigation is more of a marathon than a sprint, and uses her background as an avid competitive distance runner to develop practical legal strategies that will enable her to take each matter she handles to the finish line.
As a passionate advocate for entrepreneurs, Alexis draws on her own experience as a former business owner to get results for her clients. Before attending law school, Alexis launched several small businesses on her own and worked with clients in both the public and private sectors. This hands-on experience taught her that legal knowledge makes the critical difference between entrepreneurial success or failure.

Alexis serves on the Board of Directors for the Detroit Bar Association, also serving on the Board of Directors for CREW Detroit. She has been recognized as a Super Lawyers "Rising Star" and was named a “Go-To Lawyer” for Business Transactions by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. An active member of the State Bar of Michigan, Alexis is also a respected presenter at the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE).
