Shay Bailey is an award-winning beauty and consumer tech professional with nearly two decades of experience. After earning her Bachelor’s degree from Oakland University in 2005, Shay began her career with LaChae Cosmetics before spending nearly 15 years in leadership roles with Estée Lauder Companies’ M.A.C Cosmetics.
In 2019, Shay founded Shay B. Beautiful® LLC, a beauty and brand development consultancy. While taking on select consulting projects, she launched MyBeautyKit®, an innovative consumer tech brand that won first place at Tech Town Detroit’s Start-Up Tech Showcase. In 2023, Shay introduced MyBeautyKit® Mobile, an All-In-One Personal Glam Platform designed to empower beauty enthusiasts and professionals alike.
Shay’s journey and expertise have been highlighted across several media outlets including Sheen Magazine, WDIV Local 4, and CBS Detroit. She has also secured several notable partnerships, including being named the official Beauty Parter to the Detroit Pistons Dance Team for the 2024-25 season.
In addition to managing her brands, Shay is an devoted wife and mother. She also sits on the Board of Advisors for the Detroit Beauty Collective, Sanitation Conversation, and Oakland University's College of Arts & Sciences.
