I am the founder and owner of Fall Harvest Urban Farms, LLC and created Mrs. Pruitt’s Gourmet CHA CHA. CHA CHA is a best kept family recipe dating back to the early 1830’s. It’s a relish, condiment, sauce and an authentic African American southern cuisine. My mother-in-law Ma Pruitt age 82, gave me the family CHA CHA recipe and told me to go and tell the world about CHA CHA. I started manufacturing Mrs. Pruitt’s Gourmet CHA CHA in March 2014, while working full time and raising my son.
We started selling our products at Eastern Market in Detroit, MI. We then branched out too many local stores, shops, and specialty boutiques throughout Michigan and nationally. Effective in January 2022, I started working full time in my business and in March of 2022 Meijer contacted me and wanted three of my products in their stores in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.
This year, I obtained an ACDBE/DBE Certification and as a result, Mrs. Pruitt's Gourmet CHA CHA products are now at the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport located in he Evans Terminal at CNBC, The Economist, and Detroit Marketplace.
