Bridget Millar
Bridget Millar is President of Unmuted Consumer Insights, a women-owned market research firm based in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The firm works with corporations, agencies, and public-sector organizations, with experience spanning automotive and mobility, consumer products, marine, and government sectors.
Prior to launching Unmuted Consumer Insights, Bridget spent 16 years at Magna International, where she held roles in marketing and consumer insights. Her corporate experience provided a strong foundation in how organizations use customer data to inform business and product decisions.
Unmuted Consumer Insights is certified through WBENC as both a Women’s Business Enterprise and a Woman-Owned Small Business.
Bridget contributes her time and expertise in support of women-owned and small businesses. She is a service provider for Oakland Thrive and informally mentors women business owners as they navigate growth and decision-making. She also serves as Secretary on the board of her daughter’s ski team.
Bridget is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Inforum, the Insights Association, WiRE, and the Marine Marketers Association, where she serves on the Networking Committee.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree Business Administration from Oakland University and an MBA from Wayne State University. Bridget is also a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program and completed the Building a Successful Business program at Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business.
Bridget has been married for 22 years and has three daughters. In her personal time, she is an avid reader and enjoys boating on Lake St. Clair.
