National Women's Business Conference
I encourage you to attend this conference and being virtual, it really cuts down on the cost to attend. This conference has something for all women business owners, where you are from solo-preneurs, to those running a start-up from their kitchen table and thinking about bringing on their first employee, to those who have far surpassed the $1 million mark and now trying to identify their future successor. NAWBO's WBC is going completely virtual, September 21-23 with additional programming three days following the conference.  For just $195 for members, experience six days of live programming (with access to recorded sessions post event) from 25+ keynotes, general sessions and breakouts. To learn more visit nawbo.org.

Member News

I have sad news that member Sherry Day passed away recently. She was president of NAWBO GDC from 2005-2006 and before retiring had owned Executive Resources-Human Potential Consultants, LC. We send our condolences to her family.

The Fall membership drive started yesterday and goes through October 31st. New members receive $45 off the one-time new member initiation fee (normally $100) in honor of NAWBO's 45th anniversary. If you know a women business owner who is not a member, this is a great time for them to join. Plus, there are rewards for members who refer new members. Learn more about our NAWBO Referral Program here. (note you will need to log into your membership account to view)

I hope see you virtually at our Top 10 event and in person at our golf outing. Questions or comments? Email me at [email protected]nawbogdc.org.

Stay healthy and safe Sisters!
