Happy New Year! In 2017 we continue to offer opportunities, educational and networking events designed to help you leverage, “The Power of Collaborations”. Here is a snippet of our upcoming first quarter events. It is our hope that you mark your calendars and make plans to attend!

Circle of LearningFriday, February 3, 2017, 8 to 11 am, Business Planning and Growth Workshop at the Dearborn Federal Credit Union(DFCU), 400 Town Center Drive, Dearborn, MI  (next to The Henry). Whether you are in the early stages of your business or ready for the next level of growth, this workshop will help you. Thanks to Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses and DFCU for their sponsorship, we are able to offer this workshop at no charge. But you must pre-register. Seating is limited and filling up fast. Members Only~ Tuesday, February 21, 2017, 8 to 9 am, Grow & Connect with NAWBO-GDC, at 26677 W. 12 Mile Rd, Southfield. Start your day networking and rekindling while you learn how to leverage your NAWBO membership so you can maximize your ROI. Meet members of the GDC Board and Committee Chairs. Ladies Over Lunch~ Friday, March 3, 2017, 11:30 am  (first Friday of each month) 11:30a.m. Gather together with like-minded friends at the Skyline Club’s monthly Ladies over Lunch event!  Discuss current events, inspiring topics and industry specifics with NAWBO while dining at the Chef's table. $20 inclusive per person. Kira Jabri, MPH, MSW is a co-founder of E.M.M.A. International Consulting Group, Inc. and serves as E.M.M.A. International’s Vice President and COO.  Mrs. Jabri has over sixteen years of experience as a healthcare professional culminating extensive experience and knowledge of regulatory needs of FDA regulated industries.  As Vice President and COO, Mrs. Jabri oversees all operational activities, project management, and strategic planning. 

Mrs. Jabri brings a unique perspective to the quality assurance and regulatory affairs profession by combining her knowledge and skills as a medical social worker and a public health practitioner.  This experience has allowed for Mrs. Jabri to become a unique regulatory affairs strategist working with pharmaceutical, medical device, and cosmetic companies to ensure the safety and efficiency of product development.  She works with E.M.M.A. International’s clients to assist in all phases of regulatory strategy and development.

Mrs. Jabri holds a Master of Public Health from Walden University, a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Social Work and Psychology from Cedar Crest College.

Looking for small (seating 10) conference room to be used once a month, 2hrs in the evening, for 6 months. Conference room to be used for Communication Advantage Strategic Workshop - may consider reciprocal arrangement - enrollment for use of room.
